Mistey’s Dream House is a mentoring program for teenage girls whose mothers are incarcerated. However, the program is open to all girls in need of mentorship whom may be affected by foster care, group homes and or family domestic violence.

Who Is Mistey?
Owner and Esthetician of Sashay Wax Beverly Hills, Mistey Saffore founded Mistey’s Dream House in 2021. Mistey’s mother was wrongly convicted and sentenced to LIFE in prison when she was just 12 years old. Mistey spent 25 years cultivating a relationship with her mom behind prison bars through writing letters, weekend visitations and phone calls.
Through her pain and triumphs, Mistey had a community of women including Godmothers, aunts, and spiritual advisors that poured love and encouragement into her journey for her to become the woman she is today.

“Girls club zoom” is a virtual monthly meetup to connect with Misteys dream house mentees living in and outside of the Los Angeles area. This allows updates and ongoing support for those unable to attend local events. Each call is hosted by Mistey or a guest speaker, given topics of the day to share work experience, skills and personal journeys to success.
